Role: Product Owner
Location: Onsite Las Vegas NV
Experience Required: 10 Years
Responsibilities:
- Product Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling product vision that aligns with the overall business strategy.
- Product Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain a welldefined product backlog ensuring clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Agile Methodology: Embrace Agile principles and practices such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver highquality products efficiently.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders including product managers engineers designers and customers to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
- Product Roadmap: Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap balancing shortterm and longterm goals.
- DataDriven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions about product features and improvements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of the product by defining acceptance criteria and conducting regular reviews.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a fastpaced agile environment.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies particularly Agile.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise business terms.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Experience with specific technologies or tools relevant to the product e.g. web development frameworks mobile platforms backend systems.
Customer Communication
- Effectively listen to customer needs concerns and feedback. Understand and respond to customer emotions and perspectives.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Build strong relationships with customers based on trust and reliability.
- Identify and resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently. Keep the customer informed about project progress and potential issues.
Stakeholder Management
- Identify key stakeholders and their interests to develop effective communication plans to keep stakeholders informed.
- Set clear expectations and manage stakeholder expectations. Resolve conflicts and disagreements among stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration and teamwork among crossfunctional teams. Influence stakeholders to support project goals.
- Manage change effectively and minimize resistance.
CrossFunctional Team Coordination
- Work collaboratively with teams from different functions (e.g. development design marketing).
- Identify and manage dependencies between teams and resolve conflicts and disagreements
- Align teams towards common goals and objectives through regular communication
- Ensure shared understanding of project requirements and goals.
