Job Summary:
Job Empire recruting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in England UK. We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team on a fulltime permanent basis. As a Fabricator you will be responsible for constructing and assembling metal structures and equipment using a variety of tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications to determine project requirements
Cut shape and bend metal pieces using tools such as saws shears and presses
Weld and join metal pieces together using various welding techniques
Operate and maintain various fabrication equipment such as grinders drills and plasma cutters
Measure and mark dimensions for metal pieces according to project specifications
Inspect and troubleshoot finished products for quality and accuracy
Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience in metal fabrication
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce highquality work
Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from work
