Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidencebased Occupational Therapy services tailored to client needs.
- Conduct assessments interventions consultations case management discharge planning and followups.
- Educate clients families and team members on effective rehabilitation strategies.
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal care.
- Utilize sound professional judgment to address complex cases.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensure: Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia (COTNS).
- Experience:
- 13 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist (preferred).
- Experience with returntowork programs and interdisciplinary care (preferred).
- Experience with chronic pain and concussion management (an asset).
- New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
