Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Instrumentation Maintenance & Calibration:

    • Perform regular maintenance and calibration of instruments like pressure gauges flow meters temperature sensors and analyzers.
    • Ensure instruments comply with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Troubleshooting & Repair:

    • Diagnose and resolve faults in control and instrumentation systems.
    • Provide root cause analysis for instrumentrelated issues.
  3. Design & Installation:

    • Assist in the design and installation of new instrumentation systems for LPG plants.
    • Ensure proper configuration and integration with control systems.
  4. Process Optimization:

    • Analyze system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and safety.
    • Implement control strategies to optimize LPG processing and storage.
  5. Safety & Compliance:

    • Ensure all instrumentation systems adhere to safety standards (e.g. IEC ANSI API).
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures for instrumentation hazards.
  6. Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of calibration maintenance and inspection activities.
    • Prepare technical reports and documentation for audits and reviews.
  7. Collaboration & Support:

    • Work closely with process engineers electrical teams and safety personnel to ensure seamless operations.
    • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and engineers.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation within the LPG or oil & gas sector.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of PLCs SCADA systems DCS and other control systems.
  • Proficiency in using calibration tools and software.
  • Familiarity with LPG processing systems and relevant instrumentation.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on safety.

Work Environment:

  • May involve work in outdoor environments including highpressure and hazardous areas.
  • Requires adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
