Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
-
Instrumentation Maintenance & Calibration:
- Perform regular maintenance and calibration of instruments like pressure gauges flow meters temperature sensors and analyzers.
- Ensure instruments comply with industry standards and regulations.

Troubleshooting & Repair:
- Diagnose and resolve faults in control and instrumentation systems.
- Provide root cause analysis for instrumentrelated issues.

Design & Installation:
- Assist in the design and installation of new instrumentation systems for LPG plants.
- Ensure proper configuration and integration with control systems.

Process Optimization:
- Analyze system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and safety.
- Implement control strategies to optimize LPG processing and storage.

Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all instrumentation systems adhere to safety standards (e.g. IEC ANSI API).
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures for instrumentation hazards.

Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of calibration maintenance and inspection activities.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for audits and reviews.

Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with process engineers electrical teams and safety personnel to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and engineers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation within the LPG or oil & gas sector.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PLCs SCADA systems DCS and other control systems.
- Proficiency in using calibration tools and software.
- Familiarity with LPG processing systems and relevant instrumentation.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
Work Environment:
- May involve work in outdoor environments including highpressure and hazardous areas.
- Requires adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
