Our Davis County Childcare Center is looking for a strong leader to join the elite team of Directors who run our childcare centers.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
The Assistant Director is responsible for managing the daytoday operations of the center including but not limited to:
- Supervise the program on an ongoing basis in all classrooms.
- Recruiting and training of teachers and other staff and providing continued professional development.
- Manage all staff and schedules to cover enrollment and attendance.
- Recruit families who need care and maintain the maximum enrollment.
- Confer with any parent on policies and procedures and any concerns.
- Assure that all licensing standards are being upheld.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of CDA NAC or equivalent and 5 years in early childhood education and required courses for Bureau of Child Care Licensing.
- Professionalism sufficient maturity and good judgment to function in crises.
- Sensitivity to individual and group needs of children.
- Ability to supervise and create an atmosphere of positive and appropriate discipline for staff and children.
- Ability to communicate with parents effectively.
