What you will be doing:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the information security program.
- Focus on governance tasks within IAM Operations (Quality Reviews Audit Certifications knowledge base article revisions).
- Collaborate with IT legal compliance and other teams to implement and maintain security controls and processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Lead security awareness and training initiatives to educate employees on security best practices and promote a culture of security awareness.
- Manage security incidents and breaches including investigation response and remediation efforts.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of security incidents metrics and initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
Experience you will need:
- Solid understanding of information security principles practices technologies and standards.
- Familiarity with risk management methodologies and frameworks.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in developing and implementing information security policies standards and procedures.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Bachelors degree in computer science information systems or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in information security with demonstrated experience in managing security operations and projects (preferred).
