Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Hotel Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed by all employees.
- Monitoring the progress of projects to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Working with management to develop new quality control processes and procedures.
- Conducting investigations into employee complaints about health or safety issues.
- Participating in regular staff meetings to discuss quality issues and concerns.
- Serving as a liaison between management and other departments such as engineering Housekeeping and front office.
- Conducting training sessions on quality control methods and techniques to ensure that all employees are familiar with best practices
- Reviewing data from internal audits and investigations to identify problems or determine whether corrective action is necessary
- Monitor compliance to quality policies procedures and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas of concern and develop strategies to address them.
- Investigate customer complaints and take appropriate corrective action.
- Develop implement and maintain quality control procedures.
- Train employees in quality control procedures.
- Perform quality assurance reviews.
- Monitor s levels and investigate root causes of defects.
- Manage and maintain the companys internal quality audit program for audits internal and external.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance.
- Prepare quality reports for management.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience of sustainable solutions with knowledge of sustainability principles and concepts related to the built environment.
- Familiarity with environmental management systems
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability efforts.
- Design and implement longterm sustainable strategies that align with corporate goals
- Monitor sustainability metrics and compile reports outlining the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality assurance department or relevant role.
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and databases.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Great attention to detail and a results driven approach.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Reliable and Trustworthy.
- BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field.
- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
