Tasks
- Develop and maintain robust backend systems using NodeJS (with NestJS) or Laravel depending on the project requirements.
- Design and implement APIs and backend services to support frontend applications and thirdparty integrations.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data handling and storage.
- Optimize backend systems for scalability performance and security.
- Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate APIs and deliver seamless endtoend functionality.
- Debug and troubleshoot backend issues to ensure system reliability.
- Write clean maintainable and testable code while adhering to best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest backend technologies and frameworks (e.g. NodeJS NestJS Laravel) and implement new tools as needed.
- Contribute to architectural decisions to improve the scalability and reliability of backend solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in NodeJS (preferably with NestJS) or Laravel.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
- Proficiency in working with databases such as MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB or similar.
- Experience with backend performance optimization and security best practices.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g. JWT OAuth).
- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- A passion for backend development and learning new technologies.
