Description and Deliverables of the Service
We are looking for an AWS Data Developer to join the Data Solutions (Data Engineering) department of one of our clients in the insurance sector.
The developer will actively participate in projects to implement new data use cases on their AWS cloudbased data platform.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing AWS data warehouse feeds/transformations (Redshift etc.) from various data sources (Parquet files Oracle databases etc.).
- Producing the corresponding technical/operational documentation.
- Developing user stories.
- Conducting technical tests.
- Collaborating closely with the teams Product Owner (PO) or Business Analyst (BA).
Required Expertise
Mandatory skills:
- Proficiency in Spark/Java.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- AWS: S3 / Glue / Redshift / Step Functions / Lambda.
- CI/CD: Git Jenkins etc.
Desirable/Optional skills:
- Docker.
- Terraform.
- Power BI.
