You First is an established NDIS Registered Provider and is seeking an experienced Support Coordinator or Specialist Support Coordinator to join their boutique Support Coordinator team.
You will have at least 2 years experience working as a Support Coordinator with relevant qualifications e.g. social work and the ability to support NDIS participants with a range of different support needs.
The role is located at modern offices in Southeast Melbourne VIC and is full time Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.15pm.
Note: the role is full time office based only.
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to quickly engage and gain trust with a diverse group of people. Attention to detail good time management skills and ability to work to deadlines are essential.
Key candidate attributes include:
- 2 years experience in a Support Coordination NDIS role supporting a diverse client base.
- Degree level qualification in a relevant field social worker psychology allied health community services or mental health.
- Experience of working with and coordinating support for people with complex disabilities high intensity care.
- Specialist in mental health and psychosocial disabilities autism & ADHD housing or leaving school is also highly regarded.
- Ability to undertake research deliver information in an easytounderstand format and build key relationships with a range of diverse stakeholders is critical.
- Must be highly organised and be able to manage competing priorities whilst delivering consistently highquality outcomes.
- Full competence with computer systems apps and other technology relevant to the role

- Understand & support each client to get the most value out of their NDIS plan and goals align the coordination of supports and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliant documentation and progress reporting requirements are completed as per NDIS guidelines.
- Answer all enquiries from clients and stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain client records and information proficiently via Astalty & Proda.
- Triage new client referrals when required and seek alternative service providers if the company is not the best fit for the client through your local area knowledge.
- Mentor other team members to grow and develop in their roles (everyone brings their own skills and experience to the table).
- Use existing contacts and networks to grow the Support Coordination teams profile & client portfolio.
- Must have a strong ethical approach to the role and understand compliance with NDIS legislation & guidelines.
