Job Description
WeCare Medical Specialty Group is seeking a skilled and detailoriented Remote Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing and processing medical claims to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
Responsibilities:
* Review and verify medical records for accurate coding and billing.
* Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance providers.
* Follow up on denied or underpaid claims to secure maximum reimbursement.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for all claims.
* Resolve billing inquiries and disputes with insurance companies and patients.
* Stay updated on industry regulations coding guidelines and billing procedures.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology ICD10 and CPT codes.
* Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR).
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
