Job Summary:
We are looking for a detailoriented and experienced Warehouse InCharge to manage the daytoday operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory management ensuring efficient handling of goods coordinating dispatches and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse including receiving storing and dispatching goods.
2. Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels; perform regular stock checks and ensure timely updates in the inventory system.
3. Team Management: Lead train and supervise warehouse staff ensuring productivity and adherence to operational procedures.
4. Order Processing: Coordinate with the sales procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all goods are stored in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
6. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all warehouse activities adhere to safety guidelines and standards including the proper use of equipment and handling of goods.
7. Space Optimization: Implement strategies to maximize warehouse space utilization and improve operational efficiency.
8. Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with thirdparty service providers (e.g. transport companies vendors) to ensure smooth operations.
9. Documentation: Maintain and oversee all records related to warehouse activities such as inventory logs delivery notes and invoices.
Key Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in supply chain management logistics business administration or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 25 years of experience in warehouse management preferably in a supervisory role.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
Good understanding of warehouse health safety and compliance requirements.
Strong communication and problemsolving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP systems.
Knowledge of lean warehousing processes and best practices.
