Associate Director Project Controls Life Science & Industrial Manufacturing Projects
Platinum Global Talent Solutions is delighted to partner with our client a leading global Consultancy renowned for delivering highprofile complex and iconic largescale capital projects. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation our client is at the forefront of their industry.
We are seeking to appoint a fulltime talented Associate Director Project Controls to support major capital projects in the Life Sciences and Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
Responsibilities
Project Controls Leadership: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of project controls including schedule cost quality logistics and reporting ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations while leading and growing a team focused on cost/schedule/contract/risk management.
Risk Management & Mitigation: Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans ensuring proactive action to safeguard project timelines budgets and outcomes.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle while preparing and delivering formal project control reports.
Procurement & Cost Management: Oversee the procurement process ensuring effective execution of all stages including prequalification evaluation selection and contract preparation while managing daytoday cost controls change management and cost reporting for medium to largescale projects.
Project Performance & Closeout: Ensure projects adhere to established operating procedures actively monitor progress against contract expectations promote teamwork among all stakeholders and drive the timely closeout and practical completion of works through proactive planning and value engineering.
Qualifications
- 10 years experience in project controls for complex capital projects preferably within Life Sciences Industrial Manufacturing or similar sectors with a strong focus on cost schedule and risk management.
- Indepth knowledge and handson experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies able to quickly analyze and interpret cost and schedule data to identify trends risks and opportunities.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and developing highperforming project controls teams including cost schedule contract and risk management functions while maintaining effective client and stakeholder relationships.
- Extensive experience in managing the procurement process including prequalification evaluation contract preparation and change management with a focus on medium to largescale projects.
- Ability to absorb and analyze complex data rapidly preparing and presenting formal reports and recommendations to key stakeholders and ensuring adherence to project controls frameworks operating procedures and systems.
- Awareness of current methodologies and tools to manage analyze and develop planning and schedule information related to projects
- Proficient with a variety of software packages including MS Excel MS Project Primavera P6.
The estimated salary for this position is $170000. Starting salary may vary based on permissible nondiscriminatory factors such as experience skills and qualifications.
