About the Vacancy
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Commis I to support our culinary team at our two resorts in Mauritius. This role focuses on preparing highquality dishes and maintaining kitchen operations.
What Are We Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary role is preferred.
- Educational Background: A degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred but not mandatory.
- Culinary Skills: Strong culinary skills and a passion for food preparation.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure high standards of food quality presentation and hygiene.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing kitchen inventory and ordering supplies.
- Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Guest Satisfaction: Contribute to a positive dining experience for guests.
