Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Repair:
- Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose faults and oversee repairs to minimize downtime.

Troubleshooting:
- Identify mechanical electrical and operational issues and resolve them promptly.
- Work on specialized equipment such as CNC machines hydraulic systems or other plant machinery.

System Monitoring:
- Monitor the performance and condition of equipment using predictive maintenance tools.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities parts usage and system performance.

Spare Parts Management:
- Ensure adequate stock of critical spare parts and tools.
- Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of replacement parts.

Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to workplace safety regulations and enforce safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations.

Collaboration:
- Work with the production and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations.

Process Improvement:
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance equipment performance and reduce costs.
- Participate in upgrading machinery and systems for better efficiency.
- Technical Expertise: Indepth knowledge of mechanical electrical and automation systems.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to identify and solve complex technical issues.
- Communication: Ability to document issues report on progress and liaise with crossfunctional teams.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring equipment and repairs meet safety and quality standards.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
- 25 years of experience in industrial or plant maintenance.
- Knowledge of tools such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Can involve working in shifts overtime during emergencies and exposure to industrial environments.
- Requires physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols.
- EntryLevel: Junior Maintenance Technician/Engineer.
- MidLevel: Maintenance Engineer/Specialist.
- Senior Level: Maintenance Manager/Plant Engineer.
