Job Description
As a company we support flexible hours and location. This is a hybrid role with significant flexibility to be mostly remote. Our team works in a way that suits their personal preferences: some of our employees work primarily remotely while others prefer inperson collaboration. Although the position allows for a high degree of remote work there will be occasional inperson meetings so proximity to the DFW area is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse client portfolio including individuals corporations partnerships and trusts.
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies regulatory compliance and tax risk management.
- Prepare and review complex federal state and local tax returns ensuring accuracy compliance and timeliness.
- Conduct research on complex federal and state tax issues.
- Collaborate with clients on tax implications of financial decisions and investment strategies providing expert guidance.
- Identify tax savings opportunities through proactive planning and insights aligning with clients financial goals.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships acting as a trusted advisor for taxrelated matters.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly encouraged.
- At least 5 years of experience in tax consulting and compliance with a strong background in public accounting.
- Indepth knowledge of U.S. federal state and local tax laws.
- Proficiency in tax software and technology tools commonly used in tax consulting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously meeting deadlines with high standards of quality.
- Must reside within 90 minutes of the DallasFort Worth (DFW) metroplex.
