Job Description
Job Title: Security engineer (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation solutions for various processes including software testing infrastructure provisioning deployment and more.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Python Bash PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Create and optimize automated test scripts for functional regression and load testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with software developers QA engineers and IT operations teams to design and deploy automation tools that improve operational efficiency.
- Work with tools such as Selenium Jenkins Docker Kubernetes or similar to automate workflows.
- Monitor maintain and troubleshoot automated systems and processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics.
- Assist with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipeline development and management.
- Ensure automation solutions are scalable secure and compliant with internal policies and industry standards.
- Stay up to date with new automation tools technologies and industry best practices.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience as an Automation Engineer Test Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium Jenkins Chef Ansible or Puppet.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python Bash PowerShell Ruby or Perl.
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins GitLab or CircleCI.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker Kubernetes and related tools.
- Solid understanding of version control systems (Git GitHub GitLab).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and their automation capabilities.
- Knowledge of networking security and compliance considerations in automation.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
