Job Description
Job Title: Informatica/Datawarehouse specialist
Location: Austin Texas (Hybrid)(Local to Austin only)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and maintain data warehouses and data marts.
- Use tools such as Informatica Oracle OCI or similar to access and deliver data for applications.
- Build data dictionaries and perform business object integration for reporting and decision support.
- Implement and manage analytical and reporting tools like Business Objects Cognos Hyperion and MicroStrategy.
- Manage the full data warehousing process including business requirements gathering logical modeling physical database design data sourcing transformation loading and reporting.
- Apply data modeling techniques such as Star Schemas Snowflake Schemas and normalized data models for target structures.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful integration of data into business intelligence solutions.
- Design and develop reports using tools such as SSRS and other reporting solutions.
- Ensure highquality data and reporting standards across all data warehousing projects.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of enterpriseclass databases such as Teradata Oracle and SQL Server.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in using database access tools like Informatica Oracle OCI or similar.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems data warehousing and decision support tools.
- Experience with the development implementation and maintenance of data warehouses and data marts.
- Strong familiarity with business objects data dictionaries and reporting functions.
- High level of analytical ability to solve complex problems.
- Experience with data population and data modeling techniques including Star Schemas Snowflake Schemas and normalized data models.
- Proficiency with GUIbased ETL tools such as Informatica IBM WebSphere DataStage or similar.
- Experience with enterpriseclass databases such as Teradata Oracle SQL Server or similar.
- Experience with analytical and reporting tools like Business Objects Cognos Hyperion MicroStrategy or similar.
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
- Proven ability to work with both technical and nontechnical groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Informatica database tools.
- Oracle Database experience.
- SSRS report creation experience.
- M204 database experience.
