Job Description
Salary: $ 95000.00
We have partnered with a large meat packaging company in the Greeley CO area to provide them with a Senior Corporate Accountant. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Senior Corporate Accountant:
#1. Must have at least 5 years or Public or Corporate accounting experience.
#2. Must have US GAAP reporting and IFRS reporting knowledge.
#3. Must have General ledger knowledge in consolidation accounting including eliminations and foreign currency translation.
#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.
Requirements of the Senior Corporate Accountant:
- Bachelors degree required Accounting major preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience from either public accounting (audit) or industry in corporate setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with various levels of management (plant personnel corporate executive management investment banking community brokers treasury etc.) and external auditors
- General ledger knowledge in consolidation accounting including eliminations and foreign currency translation
- SAP experience a plus
- Strong US GAAP reporting knowledge including financial statement preparation and review
- IFRS reporting knowledge a plus
- Excellent time management skills
- Adequately skilled in MS Excel (i.e. ability to create complex formulas pivot tables etc.) and ad hoc report building with data from various systems
- Quick learner and able to complete responsibilities independently with high degree of accuracy
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- As a salaried position with the company you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities to attend Company events or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
