My client is seeking a Senior Product Manager Operational Compliance & Safety to oversee all ICT products within the Operational Compliance and Safety domain in the Airport ICT department. In this role you will manage the complete product life cycle (Think Design Build Run) from strategic changes to operational execution. You will collaborate closely with internal clients (Fire Brigade Security Safety Contingency etc.) your team ICT partners suppliers and stakeholders to continuously enhance the functionality of products and applications optimizing airport operations services and commercial outcomes.
The Airport ICT department encompasses all ICT services essential for the airports operations. In the Operational Compliance & Safety domain this includes ICT support for services ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining airport operability such as Fire Brigade Inspection Security and Compliance.
Your supported products facilitate tasks like incident registration findings and audit results logging and alerting the appropriate teams during emergencies.
This role reports directly to the Service Manager (Security Safety & Compliance Services and Asset Management).
Key Responsibilities
Enhancing IT Operations Compliance & Safety
- Manage ICT services and tools for products ensuring smooth operations through established Service Level Agreements.
- Oversee the lifecycle of various products (e.g. CMO Abiware FrontForce) following release cycle structures and regulations.
- Manage the complete budget for product operations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships adhering to clear agreements.
- Monitor and oversee supplier services.
- Stay updated on external market trends and internal developments to identify improvement opportunities.
Implementing Change and Strategy
- Leverage customer needs product expertise market insights and architectural guidelines to provide key input for the Service Manager s roadmap.
- Develop business cases for your products and their underlying solutions.
- Execute the vision and roadmap by initiating delegating and monitoring product projects while respecting ICT architecture and engaging relevant stakeholders.
People Management and Product Leadership
- Motivate guide and lead diverse teams across departments and external organizations.
- Actively promote knowledge sharing and development within your product and business domain.
- Facilitate user groups for your products including representatives from multiple business units or external organizations.
Requirements
Master s degree or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of relevant experience with a proven track record.
Experience in industrial sectors with strong customer service elements is a plus.
Strong knowledge of project program and product management.
Customeroriented capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.
Skilled in engaging with clients at all levels communicating effectively on technical and conceptual topics.
Strong diplomatic and negotiation skills with a persuasive approach.
Excellent organizational talent resultdriven mindset and analytical capabilities.
Experience in people management.
Fluent in English and proficient in French or Dutch.
