The Clinical Training Coordinator serves a key role in the Hospital Affairs department. This position will provide administrative and operational support for assigned data systems and program records to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance. The Clinical Coordinator position works collaboratively with college administrators faculty and staff as well as with healthcare facilities healthcare providers and students to ensure high quality clinical outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the clinical placement process and ensures effective operation of clinical practicums by organizing supervising and evaluating clinical sites & students.
Ensure effective operation of clinical practicums by organizing supervising & evaluating clinical sites preceptors & students
Monitor student placements and clinical records.
Maintain and obtain contracts mandatory legal documentation (license verification liability insurance qualifications of preceptors and preceptor orientation etc.).
Secure and coordinate clinical placement for all assigned programs for incoming and continuing students.
Manage communication related to clinical placement
Coordinate regular assessment of students and preceptors.
Provide onboarding/orientation for preceptors and ensure clear objectives & expectations for students and preceptors.
Provide comprehensive administrative operational and project support to the Program Director and faculty.
Track of clinical placements
Ensure efficient and effective student advising during clinical practicum.
Requirements
Education:Bachelors Degree in a related field
Experience: Clinical and administrative experience
