Job Description
Position: Director of Imaging
Start Date: 12/16/2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Exeter NH 03833
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days
Shift Notes: Days 40 hrs/week Exempt position
Weekend Requirements: As needed
OnCall Requirements: n/a
COVID Requirement: Initial Vaccination series is required. Exemptions may be approved for religious or medical reasons.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Management:
Oversee all operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Lead mentor and develop a diverse team of imaging professionals fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
Manage departmental budgets resources and staffing to optimize efficiency and costeffectiveness.
2. Patient Care:
Ensure highquality patient care is delivered consistently across all imaging modalities focusing on patient safety comfort and satisfaction.
Collaborate with clinical staff and other departments to facilitate seamless patient flow and enhance the overall patient experience.
Implement policies and procedures that prioritize patientcentered care and adhere to best practices in diagnostic imaging.
3. Technology and Innovation:
Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in diagnostic imaging technology including AI teleradiology and other innovative practices.
Develop and implement a strategic vision for the future of the Diagnostic Imaging Department incorporating new technologies that enhance diagnostic accuracy and operational efficiency.
Evaluate and recommend new imaging equipment and technologies to improve departmental capabilities and patient outcomes.
4. Quality Assurance and Improvement:
Establish and monitor quality control and assurance programs to ensure optimal performance of imaging equipment and services.
Analyze imaging data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement evidencebased practices.
Lead departmental efforts in accreditation processes and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
Foster strong relationships with medical staff administration and other departments to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and improve patient care pathways.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding departmental initiatives performance and advancements in imaging technology.
EHR is seeking an individual who can jump in to keep Radiology operations afloat & moving seamlessly & efficiently.
Equipment Types:
- CT: GE Siemens 64 slice Medrad injector
- MRI: Siemens Avanto Medrad injector (Spectis Solaris EP)
- Nuc Med: SIemens ECam Siements SymbiaE
- Rad: Siemens (fluro) Shimadzu Carestream GE
- Ultrasound: Siemens Sequoia Philips EPIC GE Voluson GE Logic
- BBH: Hologic Hologic 3D
FTE Oversight:
- CT: 8 FTE 1 Chief Tech
- MRI: 4 FTE
- Radiology: 17 FTE 1 Supv. 1 Chief Tech
Submission Requirements
- Min. of 5 years experience in Diagnostic imaging
- at least 3 years experience in leadership roles; preferably Director role (manager supervisor director)
- indepth knowledge of multiple imaging modalities ranging from MRI CT XRay Ultrasound
- Masters degree in Radiology Tech Health Admin or related field pertinent to the position
- Cert(s): ARRT CMD etc... applicable certificate to Radiology
- TEMP NH MIRT license in effect!!! MUST have a state Imaging license to obtain Temp...nonlicensed Imaging Tech will have to apply for the PERM NH MIRT license Temporary Licenses NH Office of Professional Licensure and Certification
