Job Description

Job Title : Territory Sales Representative
Duration : Fulltime Permanent
Location : Vancouver WA (OR) Portland OR (can work out of any of these 2 offices)

Reports To: Eastern Director of Sales:

The territory sales representative will work to grow the existing customer base create new opportunities and exceed monthly business objectives.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for the sales of Client services and product offerings.
  • Network with existing customers to increase sales retain business and cultivate strong relationships.
  • Solicit prospective new business opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed monthly quota based on company growth objectives.
  • Conduct daily sales meetings and presentations to achieve monthly goals.
  • Strong understanding of industry specific services and product offerings available.
  • Maintain professionalism diplomacy sensitivity and tact to portray the company in a positive manner.
  • Organize sales efforts and joint sales calls with vendors and Client Strategic Accounts team.
  • Utilize NetSuite to prepare an annual sales plan log weekly sales activity enter quotes and manage territory.
  • Create quote builders in excel and provide product quotes and proposals in Microsoft Word to customers as needed.
  • Attending all required safety meetings.
  • Adhere to all Safety PPE requirements and policies.
  • Adheres to all company policies procedures and business ethics codes.

Expectations:

Each Monday and Friday is an in branch/office day working with the branch team members planning making outbound sales calls by phone/email performing admin responsibilities (quoting time entry expenses logging activity into NetSuite). Friday can be an exception if a salesperson has scheduled appointments with prospects and/or customers.

  • Minimum 1015 meetings per week with prospects and existing customers via set appointments.
  • Appropriate on site cold calls cloverleafing (may vary based on territory).
  • Minimum 3040 outbound sales engagements via phone and email.
  • Minimum of 3050forthe 90Day Ramp Up and 6575totaI NetSuite logged customer interactions per week thereafter.
  • Utilizing Google Maps and NetSuite to identify target and engage in 10 Targets to generate new inspection contract quoting opportunities with 50 units per week.
  • Achieve 375 units under contract per technician per month based on current technician growth targets.
  1. Currently at 10 techs 267 contracts and 3288 units under contract.
  2. 90 Days Goal is 10 techs 3586 units under contract.
  3. The monthly new inspection contract goal is 4 new contracts with combined total of 50 units per month.
  4. The current year end goal is 10 Techs 3400 units under contract.
Required Education and Experience:
  • 57 years of experience in outside sales.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information.
  • Effective time management organization and multitasking skills.
  • Persuasive communication skills.
  • Team player and should work well under pressure.
  • Strong closing skills and proven ability to achieve sales objectives.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee must occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds and frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts. The noise level on the job sites can be loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work :

This is a fulltime position MondayFriday 7am5pm with additional hours as needed to exceed sales quotas.

Travel : Travel is expected approximately 60% of the time in your region and occasional outofstate travel.
