Job Description
Summary:
Radiologic Technologist XRay tech will perform a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met.
- Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to xray.
- Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician.
- Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies procedures regulations and laws; ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results
Qualifications:
- 2 Years of Experience Required
- Experience with Xray Required
- Travel Required
- Certifications BLS (AHA) ARRT
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 $58.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
