Job Description
Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our medical team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting radiologists and physicians during interventional procedures ensuring patient safety and operating specialized radiology equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures and explain the process to ensure patient comfort.

Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound during procedures.

Assist physicians with imageguided procedures including angioplasty stent placement biopsies and other minimally invasive techniques.

Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.

Monitor patient vitals and report changes to the medical team during procedures.

Document procedures maintain accurate patient records and ensure quality control.
Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.

Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or equivalent state license required.

ARRT certification in Interventional Radiology preferred.

Strong understanding of radiology principles anatomy and aseptic techniques.

Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $3000.00 $3400.00 per week
