The Team
You will be part of the Asia Pacific Regional NonFinancial Risk Team which encompasses Compliance Operational Risk and Financial Crimes. The team collaborates with global and regional stakeholders to develop and enhance frameworks drive initiatives and ensure consistent risk management practices across the region.
The Role
We are seeking a Project Manager (PM) / Business Analyst (BA) to join our clients regional headquarters in Hong Kong. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and enhancing the regional teams framework to ensure alignment with global policies and procedures.
- Contributing to regional teams initiatives including metrics risk assessments and process improvements.
- Representing Asia Pacific in global working groups and forums to analyze and discuss policy changes and initiatives.
- Coordinating teams resources and responses for firmwide and divisional projects.
- Actively driving initiatives by identifying deliverables and ensuring timely completion.
- Conducting analysis to develop proposals and facilitate engagement with stakeholders.
- Preparing and presenting management reports for governance forums and steering committees.
Minimum Requirements
- University degree with 8 years of relevant experience preferably within financial services or a related industry.
- Familiarity with Compliance or Operational Risk frameworks.
- Experience implementing regulatory initiatives or working in a regulatory environment.
- Strong skills in MSPowerPoint MSExcel and general MSOffice tools.
- Handson project management experience with a solid understanding of the project lifecycle.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple demands and priorities under pressure.
- Strong analytical thinking problemsolving abilities and effective communication skills (both written and spoken).
- Ability to deliver highquality detailoriented output with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
