About You
You are a senior and highly creative and experienced UI/UX Designer with a good understanding of crafting exceptional mobile experiences. You possess a deep understanding of iOS and Android design patterns and are adept at creating user journeys that feel intuitive and engaging on both platforms. You thrive in a collaborative environment enjoy working closely with founders and product teams and are driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact on users lives.
Top 5 Objectives
- Craft Exceptional Mobile Experiences: Design intuitive and engaging user journeys for the BibleChat app across both iOS and Android platforms ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for all users.
- Lead Design Sprints: Facilitate design sprints to brainstorm prototype and test new features and enhancements ensuring alignment between design product and engineering teams.
- Create PlatformSpecific Designs: Develop UI/UX designs that are optimized for each platform (iOS and Android) taking into account their unique design patterns and user expectations.
- Conduct User Research: Conduct user interviews and research to gather insights into user needs and preferences informing design decisions and ensuring a usercentered approach.
- Champion Design Excellence: Promote design best practices and ensure consistency across the BibleChat app maintaining a highquality user experience that aligns with the brands mission and values.
Main Responsibilities
- Design captivating lowfidelity and highfidelity prototypes.
- Create the final UI/UX for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Design interactions and animations to enhance user engagement.
- Facilitate design sprints to generate and test new ideas.
- Conduct user interviews and translate insights into actionable design strategies.
- Work closely with founders and the product team to align design with product vision.
- Create and maintain a scalable and welldocumented design system.
- Develop userfriendly UX copy that guides users intuitively.
- Conduct datadriven user testing and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Provide detailed design documentation for development handoff.
- Stay uptodate on the latest mobile UI/UX trends and best practices.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in mobile UI/UX design.
- A portfolio showcasing exceptional iOS and Android design solutions.
- Deep knowledge of iOS and Android design patterns and user expectations.
- Experience conducting user interviews and translating insights into design decisions.
- Strong understanding of usercentered design principles.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma Sketch or Adobe XD.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
