Job Description
COMPANY OVERVIEW
Hilo Talent Partners is recruiting for an outsourced accounting firm servicing the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. It was founded in 2015 with a mission to provide entrepreneurs and growing businesses with professional reliable and experienced accounting staff.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a talented individual to support our clients as they grow and scale their businesses! You may be working with breweries business coaches construction companies distributors or promotional product companies and will be a contributing member of these budding organizations.
Your daytoday responsibilities:
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Cash management
- Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Financial reporting
- Chart of account maintenance
- Monthend closing
- Sales tax reporting
- Payroll management
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- 2year degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of Quickbooks Online experience or equivalent
- Solid understanding of cash application processing and reconciliation of accounts
- Proven working knowledge of general accounting principles and accounting systems
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and written to internal and external customers
- Proven financial acumen and analytical mindset with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports statements and projections
- Ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations sufficient to compare and verify data to locate errors
- Ability to interpret and analyze reports and banking records sufficient to resolve problems
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
- Proven problem solver who can successfully and efficiently identify and solve problems by gathering and analyzing information and recommending alternative solutions
- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with a strong sense of urgency; selfdirected to accomplish assignments and meet deadlines
- Ability to work well under pressure successfully navigate ambiguity and succeed in rapidly changing; fastpaced often unpredictable environment with competing priorities
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment and consistently take a positive and professional approach.
This is a salaried position with a hybrid working model. Roughly 5075% of the time you will be meeting clients at their offices and working closely with their teams to execute accounting tasks.
The ideal candidate is located in the southwest metro (Bloomington Chanhassen Eden Prairie Shakopee Richfield etc.)
