The Opportunity
Were seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join one of our esteemed clients in their Springfield MO office. This role will focus on supporting attorneys in the Real Estate Development & Construction business unit. This is an excellent opportunity to handle complex litigation cases while working within a firm dedicated to fostering diversity equity and inclusion.
What Youll Do
Lead with Purpose: Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation including investigations discovery pleadings depositions and mediation.
Analyze and Innovate: Argue motions participate in arbitrations and develop legal strategies to deliver optimal results.
Collaborate for Success: Work on cases in state and federal courts as well as administrative matters.
Deliver Excellence: Contribute to trials and arbitrations as a second chair and support highimpact legal outcomes.
What You Bring to the Table
Experience: 27 years of experience in complex commercial litigation preferably with exposure to state and federal courts administrative matters and arbitrations.
Education: JD with strong academic credentials.
Bar Admission: Active Missouri bar license or willingness to obtain one promptly.
Skills: Superb interpersonal writing and communication skills with exceptional judgment and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Preferred Experience: Secondchair trial or arbitration experience is a plus.
Mindset: Proactive entrepreneurial and communityoriented with a dedication to excellence.
Your Skillset
Litigation Expertise: Experience in all litigation phases including depositions motions and mediations.
Legal Drafting: Proficiency in preparing pleadings and other litigation documents.
Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills for client and team interactions.
Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple complex projects.
