Job Description
As Director Event Operations you will provide vision and leadership that fosters an engaged team and ensures quality efficiency and superior service at each group function. This position exists to administer the successful planning organization and coordination of all banquet floor activities including exceptional banquet service execution labor forecasting and control (scheduling) leading a management and service team of colleagues with a focus on guest colleague owner and brand awareness.
Qualifications :
- Previous leadership experience in food and beverage required
- Strong knowledge of Banquet operations an asset
- Prior experience managing union colleagues is required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
