Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Finance Officer to manage and oversee the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting maintain compliance with tax regulations and manage daily financial operations including payroll accounts receivable and payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare analyze and present Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and other financial reports.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvements
  • Oversee accounts receivable ensuring timely invoicing and collection of payments
  • Manage accounts payable to ensure timely payment of obligations
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations including preparation and submission of necessary documentation to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
  • Handle tax computations filing and payments ensuring timely compliance with deadlines
  • Process payroll accurately and on time ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records regularly
  • Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure all financial practices comply with local laws and standards
  • Collaborate with different internal and external POCs to ensure smooth Financial operations within the organization
  • Other relevant tasks may be added as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 3 years of solid experience handling Accounting and Finance preferably in a startup company and/or staffing firm
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations including BIR compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English communication skills

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid or onsite work setup (if applicable).
