Senior Financial Analyst Biotech
Location: Waltham Massachusetts
Industry: Biotechnology
Salary: $140000 plus bonus
Job Summary:
An established and profitable biotechnology company based in the greater Boston area is searching for a Senior Analyst to join their finance team. In this role you will lead critical financial planning and analysis activities including budgeting forecasting and operational reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to impact strategic decisions by providing forwardthinking analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of budgets forecasts and longterm financial plans working closely with department leaders throughout the company.
- Analyze financial performance identify variances and deliver businessfocused insights to guide strategic decisions.
- Deliver detailed reports and analysis for management and executive teams.
- Create financial models that support strategic initiatives and financial decisions.
- Drive improvements in financial processes reporting and automation while developing and managing KPIs across various business lines.
- Identify financial risks opportunities and mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field (MBA or CPA a plus).
- 46 years of FP&A experience in Biotech Pharma or related industry preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and other planning tools is essential to be successful in this role.
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience in preparing reports and presenting compelling narratives for senior leadership.
Compensation for this role:
- $140000 base salary range plus bonus
