Distribution Representative Commercial Lines
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Distribution Representative to join our team. This role is essential in building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance agents and brokers driving new business and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing and potential agency and broker partners.
- Business Development: Identify pursue and close new business opportunities within the commercial lines market.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of commercial insurance products and effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Sales Support: Provide sales support including proposal development presentations and account management.
- Underwriting Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters to ensure timely and accurate underwriting decisions.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with agency and broker partners ensuring alignment with the companys business objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed of industry regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in commercial lines sales and distribution.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and underwriting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and problemsolving abilities.
- Selfmotivated and resultsoriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance preferably in a sales or distribution role.
- Indepth knowledge of the target market.
Compensation: $91000$100000
Compensation info: Plus 5 Incentive Bonus (4 quarterly and 1 yearend) Target Bonus: 20%
