Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive safety health and environmental (SH&E) programs to promote a safe and sustainable workplace.
Direct the continuous improvement of operational excellence initiatives to enhance productivity efficiency and quality across the organization.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to safety health and environmental practices.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for SH&E and OE to drive accountability and performance improvement.
Collaborate with senior management and other departments to integrate SH&E and operational excellence strategies into overall business objectives.
Provide leadership training and support to staff at all levels to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Manage incident reporting investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence and improve safety systems.
Prepare and present reports on SH&E and operational excellence performance to executive management and external stakeholders.
Stay informed about industry best practices emerging trends and regulatory changes related to safety health and environmental management.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Masters degree in Environmental Science Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g. NEBOSH ISO 14001 Six Sigma) are an advantage.
Over 10 years of experience in SH&E and operational excellence roles with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
Indepth knowledge of applicable SH&E regulations standards and practices.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful SH&E and continuous improvement programs.
Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional analytical and problemsolving abilities to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Experience in conducting SH&E audits inspections and incident investigations.
Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively in a dynamic environment.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
