Job Description
Company Background:
A leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions specialize in the data center and power systems industry. With R&D facilities in Shanghai and highend manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally. The company is located in Johor Bahru and the actual working location is subject to the project.
Salary Range is: RM4000RM8000
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting for data centre equipment including power systems cooling systems and related infrastructure
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections and develop maintenance schedules
- Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Manage and resolve customer technical inquiries and escalations in a timely manner
- Create and maintain technical documentation including service reports maintenance logs and customer communications
- Coordinate with vendors and thirdparty contractors for repairs and upgrades
- Conduct technical training sessions for clients on proper equipment operation and maintenance
- Participate in emergency response procedures for critical system failures
- Develop and implement best practices for system maintenance and operation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 35 years experience in data centre operations or similar technical environment
- Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure including UPS systems cooling systems and power distribution
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools
- Professional certifications such as ATD CDCP or equivalent
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency calls
