Location: RGH Global Abilene Texas
Shift: Night & Day Shifts Available FullTime

Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse in the CVPCU you will provide essential care to patients with heart disease cardiovascular complications and other lifethreatening conditions requiring intensive monitoring. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cardiac Monitoring: Use advanced telemetry equipment to monitor patients ECG and heart rate data.
- Critical Care: Assess and respond to cardiac emergencies in a progressive care setting ensuring appropriate interventions.
- Collaboration: Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care plans for cardiac patients.
- Patient Education: Provide guidance on heart health lifestyle changes and postsurgical care.
- Documentation & Communication: Accurately document patient progress and changes and effectively communicate with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma AD or BSN).
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- CPRBLS certification (required)
- ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (required before completion of orientation).
- Experience: Open to new graduates and experienced nurses.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of cardiovascular nursing and ability to interpret telemetry data.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients families and healthcare team members.
- Ability to handle confidential information and maintain professional standards.
