Bonus Description:
A Commitment Incentive of $10000 paid out quarterly during the first year of employment.

MustHaves:
1. Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
2. Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina (or a compact state) is required.
3. American Heart Association BLS ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
4. A minimum of three years of supervisory experience (Manager role or above) in an Emergency Department is required.
NiceToHaves:
1. A Masters degree (MSN MHA etc.) is preferred.
2. Experience in a community hospital Emergency Department is preferred.
Job Description:
The Director of Emergency Services is responsible for organizing directing and supervising the clinical and procedural units within the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to policies and procedures maintaining safe staffing levels ensuring supplies and equipment are adequately stocked and managing efficient patient throughput. The role involves developing implementing and managing the department budget engaging in continuous quality and performance improvement investing in staff professional development and ensuring employees complete required annual competencies. The Director maintains professional growth and development in nursing leadership and upholds required licensure and communicates essential information to the CNO and other Administrative Team members as necessary.
The roles responsibilities also encompass staff development evidencebased clinical practice personnel resource/productivity management fiscal management and oversight of patient quality safety and performance improvement in addition to ensuring regulatory compliance.
The Emergency Department currently has 14 rooms with renovations underway to expand to 20 rooms with an estimated completion date of December 2025.
