Job Description

The Commercial Insurance Sales Representative will focus on maximizing existing relationships and business opportunities within Central Pennsylvania. This remote position requires a strategic approach to identifying and recommending new commercial lines distribution partners while managing and strengthening relationships with agencies and brokers. The representative will coordinate business proposal meetings engage in prerenewal discussions and ensure competitive pricing through collaboration with NJM underwriting.

  • Pursue upsell and crosssell opportunities with agencies/brokers
  • Coordinate business proposal meetings and present NJM optional plans
  • Engage in key account discussions and competitor plan reviews
  • Lead annual planning processes and monitor implementation
  • Maintain agency/broker profiles and assist with contracting and onboarding

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience with 45 years in commercial lines
  • Existing relationships with insurance brokerages in Central PA
  • Knowledge of insurance underwriting procedures
  • Proven stability in work history

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelors degree preferred but not mandatory

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Insurancerelated certifications or licenses as required local regulations

Experience Requirements

  • At least 45 years of experience in commercial insurance sales or marketing
  • Proven success in relationship management within the Central PA market
  • Must maintain current state licenses and continuing education credits

1. Do you have at least 2 years of P&C actuarial experience.

2. Do you have a Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science Mathematics Statistics Economics or related major.

3. Do you have a interest in pursuing the ACAS and FCAS credential from the Casualty Actuarial Society.

4. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
