Title: Director of Tax Advisor

Key Responsibilities
- The Tax Manager will lead the preparation and review of federal state and local tax returns including original and amendedS 706 709 etc. for various clients.
- Oversee financial reporting and accounting activities including compilations and financial statement preparation.
- Identify and research complex tax issues and provide innovative valuedriven solutions for clients.
- Manage client relationships ensuring timely communication exceptional service and proactive advice.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a teamdriven environment providing mentorship and guidance without the constraints of a traditional hierarchy.
- Play a key role in identifying tax issues and researching solutions independently.
- Mentor and guide junior staff fostering a collaborative highperformance work environment.
Qualifications
- CPA or EA designation required.
- Minimum five (5) years of tax return preparation experience with at least two (2) years reviewing tax returns is a CPA or clientfacing tax preparation firm.
- Experience with a variety of tax return types including individual and corporate filings.
- Minimum 35 years of experience with compilations and financial statement preparation.
- Strong working knowledge of current public accounting standards and tax laws.
- Proven ability to manage client interactions independently and deliver highquality work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to thrive in an autonomous and collaborative work environment.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Adobe and Lacerte (preferred but not requiredtraining available for the right candidate).

Technical Tax Expertise:
- Strong experience with a variety of tax returns including federal state and local tax returns for individuals and corporations (etc.) Competence in managing tax return reviews and addressing complex tax issues.
- Financial Reporting and Accounting: Experience in financial statement preparation and compilations with a minimum of 35 years in these areas.
- Minimum five (5) years of tax return preparation experience with at least two (2) years reviewing tax returns.
Client Relationship Management: Ability to manage client interactions independently ensuring exceptional service and proactive communication.
Leadership and Mentorship: Skills in mentoring and guiding junior staff within a collaborative team environment.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in both autonomous and team settings.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in software such as QuickBooks Adobe and tax software (Lacerte preferred though training is offered). Familiarity with tax research tools.
Certification: CPA or EA designation required.
