Job Description
- Write test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
- Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to communicate and resolve issues.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested software still performs after a change.
- Document testing procedures and results for future reference.
- Participate in product design and requirement review meetings to provide input on potential issues and areas of improvement.
- Develop and maintain testing standards guidelines and procedures.
- Provide support during software deployment and release processes.
- Report defects and issues in a clear and detailed manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process.
- Work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Adhere to quality assurance best practices and standards.
- Manage and prioritize testing activities to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered by existing test cases.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentation.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of testing tools and technologies.
- Understanding of quality assurance processes and best practices.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project needs.
- Experience in writing clear and concise test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
