Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

To be responsible for the medical welfare and emotional support of all hotel Associates and to ensure that appropriate medical policies and programs are in place for the entire hotel and updated regularly so that the business requirements are fulfilled and our vision is met.
To be fully aware of the department’s Standard Operating Procedures and the hotel’s and staff complex’s fire evacuation procedures and to adhere to them at all times
To be fully aware of all hotel policies, procedures and government rules & regulations and to maintain good relations with the police and other local authorities at all times
To interact and communicate with Associates, suppliers, etc. in a courteous, friendly, open and honest manner at all times
To be consistently well groomed & professional in appearance and to wear the appropriate uniform and name badge at all times
To attend team/departmental meetings and hotel training programs as and when needed or instructed
To be innovative, suggesting new ideas and investigating new ways of doing things or new services for our employees
To carry out shifts/tasks when required and to perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Management
To take responsibility for monitoring the Associates medical insurance scheme in conjunction with our service provider
To ensure that all Associates receive their health cards as soon as possible after the start of their employment.
To administer all related medical insurance and group life insurance for addition and deletion on time.
To be responsible for keeping and updating the staff health and sickness records
Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, performing physical assessments, and assisting with activities of daily living.
Medical Assistance: Support physicians and other healthcare providers during patient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
Documentation: Accurately record patient information, including medical histories, treatment plans, progress notes, and responses to treatments.
Patient Education: Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medication, and preventive measures.
Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed medications, injections, vaccinations, and treatments in accordance with medical protocols.


Desired candidate profile

Must have a valid MOPH or QCHP license
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best nursing practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Clinical Knowledge and Technical Skills: A strong understanding of medical procedures, medications, and patient care techniques. Ability to perform clinical tasks with accuracy, such as taking blood pressure, drawing blood, and operating medical equipment.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in administering medications, documenting patient information, and observing for changes in patient conditions.
Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to assess patient needs, make quick decisions, and take appropriate action during emergencies or medical complications.
Patient Care Skills: Compassionate and patient-focused approach, with an ability to establish trust and rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, medical teams, and administrators. Ability to relay complex medical information clearly and sensitively.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring patients’ needs are met in a timely manner.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work well within multidisciplinary healthcare teams, coordinating efforts and sharing information for optimal patient outcomes.
Stress Management: Ability to remain calm and focused during stressful or emergency situations, such as in critical care or trauma settings.
Cultural Sensitivity: Sensitivity to the diverse cultural backgrounds and needs of patients, offering care that is respectful of individual beliefs and practices.
