Position: ASL Interpreter with Technical Engineering Specialization

Hours: Flexible based on assignment needs (minimum charge of two hours per session)
About the Role:
CCI Group is seeking highly skilled American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters to provide specialized interpretation services for technical engineering projects. Interpreters will support employees engaged in tasks involving dams hydroelectricity and related infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of technical terminology and concepts to ensure accurate communication between Deaf and hearing participants in complex engineering environments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate ASL interpretation for engineering meetings site visits and technical training sessions.
- Deliver remote interpretation for virtual engagements.
- Interpret complex terminology related to hydropower structural engineering and dam operations.
- Collaborate with engineers technical experts and administrative staff to facilitate clear communication.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and government standards during all assignments.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional ASL interpreting experience with a focus on technical or engineering topics preferred.
- Familiarity with terminology in hydropower structural engineering and water resource management.
- Willingness to travel to Denver CO or participate remotely as needed.
