Job Description
Job Title: PermanentOccupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Palo Alto CA 94301
Payrate: $45/hourly
Duration: Permanent
Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 50 miles from the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients physical emotional and cognitive abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients ability to perform daily activities.
- Use therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patients motor skills coordination and sensory processing.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans exercises and adaptive techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress treatment outcomes and modifications to care plans.
- Maintain and manage occupational therapy equipment and materials.
Requirements:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Previous experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong assessment clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
