Requirements

We are seeking a talented and experienced Zuora Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Zuora platform including billing payment management and integrations with external systems like Salesforce Avalara and payment gateways. This role requires handson experience with Zuora workflows and APIs as well as the ability to independently deliver robust solutions for managing order lifecycles and automating workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Zuora Platform Expertise:
   

   • Manage and optimize Zuora billing customer and payment management processes.
     
   • Maintain and configure Zuora objects APIs and platform settings to meet business requirements.
     

2. Integrations and API Development:
   

   • Work on integrations between Zuora and external systems such as Salesforce Avalara and payment gateways.
     
   • Utilize Zuora APIs to build and maintain custom solutions that support business needs.
     

3. Order Lifecycle Management:
   

   • Develop and enhance solutions for managing order lifecycles including Order Harmonization and automation.
     
   • Ensure seamless implementation and maintenance of relevant APIs for order processing.
     

4. Workflow Automation:
   

   • Design develop and enhance Zuora workflows to automate business processes.
     
   • Monitor and troubleshoot existing workflows to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
     

5. Module Delivery and Customization:
   

   • Deliver independent modules and customizations based on project requirements.
     
   • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements design solutions and deploy them in the Zuora environment.
     

6. Object Model and Platform Understanding:
   

   • Develop a deep understanding of the Zuora object model and platform capabilities.
     
   • Utilize this knowledge to architect efficient solutions that align with best practices.
     

7. Technical Documentation and Support:
   

   • Create comprehensive documentation for developed workflows APIs and integrations.
     
   • Provide ongoing technical support and resolve issues related to the Zuora platform.
     

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:
  

  • Proven experience with Zuora platform including billing customer and payment management.
    
  • Handson experience in developing and automating Zuora workflows.
    
  • Strong understanding of order lifecycles Order Harmonization and relevant APIs.
    

• Technical Skills:
  

  • Proficiency in Zuora APIs and integrations with Salesforce payment gateways and Avalara.
    
  • Strong knowledge of the Zuora object model and Zuora Admin functionalities.
    
  • Experience in customizing and delivering independent modules on the Zuora platform.
    

• Soft Skills:
  

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
    
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
    
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
    

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
  
• Knowledge of advanced scripting and data integration tools.
  
• Familiarity with Zuora Reporting and Data Query functionalities.
  

Education:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
