Job Description: UFT Automation Tester (Salesforce Experience)
Job Title: UFT Automation Tester (Salesforce Experience)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in UFT Automation Testing with 12 years of Salesforce Testing experience
Key Responsibilities:
UFT Automation Testing:
- Design develop and execute automated test scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) for various web and desktop applications.
- Perform thorough automation test script development maintenance and execution as part of continuous testing in Agile environments.
- Troubleshoot automation failures identify issues and provide solutions in the automation suite.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure proper automation strategies are applied.
- Design develop and execute automated test scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) for various web and desktop applications.
Salesforce Testing:
- Conduct functional testing for Salesforce applications ensuring features work as intended in Salesforce environments.
- Perform regression testing for Salesforce applications to identify issues before release.
- Work closely with Salesforce developers to validate customizations configurations and integrations within the Salesforce platform.
- Ensure compatibility of automation scripts with Salesforce updates and releases.
- Conduct functional testing for Salesforce applications ensuring features work as intended in Salesforce environments.
Agile Methodology:
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning standups retrospectives and sprint reviews.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely delivery of automated test cases and ensure software quality in Agile sprints.
- Provide test results and feedback in an iterative and fastpaced Agile environment.

Testing Best Practices:
- Apply industrystandard testing practices and methodologies to ensure the highest quality of the software.
- Develop and maintain test plans test cases and test data according to project requirements.
- Document defects and issues found during testing and ensure they are properly tracked reported and resolved.

Client Communication:
- Communicate effectively with the client to gather test requirements understand system behavior and provide status updates on testing activities.
- Provide clear actionable feedback to the client regarding test results and system performance.
- Act as a liaison between the testing team and the client to ensure smooth project delivery and highquality outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of handson experience with UFT (Unified Functional Testing) for automation testing.
- 12 years of experience in testing Salesforce applications (e.g. Sales Cloud Service Cloud custom objects Apex Visualforce).
- Experience in designing developing and executing test scripts using UFT.
- Minimum 2 years of handson experience with UFT (Unified Functional Testing) for automation testing.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of UFT scripting and automation techniques.
- Familiarity with Salesforce testing including testing custom configurations and integrations within Salesforce environments.
- Understanding of SQL and ability to write and execute database queries for validating data in test environments.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and CI/CD processes for integrating automated tests in the software delivery pipeline.
- Strong knowledge of UFT scripting and automation techniques.
Methodology:
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience working in Agile sprints and collaborating with crossfunctional teams (Dev BA Product Owners).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
Communication:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and issues to clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Comfortable working with clients directly providing status updates clarifying requirements and addressing concerns.

- Strong knowledge of software testing best practices including test case design defect tracking and test reporting.
- Ability to execute manual testing when required and provide comprehensive feedback on defects and issues.
- Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.

Preferred:
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning is an advantage.
- Knowledge of other automation tools (e.g. Selenium JMeter) is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
