You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailRole: Mainframe System Admin Project Role Description: Act as software detectives provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot install/upgrade issues Collaborate with other admin teams to keep system integrity Ability to work with ZFS/HFS Participate in BCP/DR exercises 5 Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams 6 Ability to debug software issues using system dumps and problem analysis tools 7 Support system maintenances like IPL POR H/W upgrades Technical Experience: Must have Skills: IBM Z/OS Operating Systems Good to Have Skills: Mainframe DevOps. Knowledge of z/OS functions high level knowledge of architecture and hardware Thorough knowledge of all tools and technologies used in Mainframe Storage Thorough knowledge of using JCL IBM ISV Utilities used for Storage management Knowledge of SMP/E and software installation Overall knowledge of other support areas like Database Middleware Communication and Network. Expertise to work with system admin tools RACF SMF DFDSS Experience to Install/upgrade IBM/ISV products Ex Good communication skills Additional Information: Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Computer Engineering/Science Bachelor of Science IT specialization
