About the Role:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Informatica Developer to join a leading Life Insurance and Property & Casualty company This role is pivotal to the development and support of the companys ETL processes ensuring the smooth operation and enhancement of data systems using Informatica.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary developer responsible for managing production support and creating new solutions using Informatica.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to document code conduct testing and participate in the overall application development lifecycle.
- Provide production support to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Informatica workflows.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing production support and development in Informatica.
- 6 years of ETL development experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to create complex queries from scratch.
- Familiarity with Java or .NET is a plus.
- Experience with IDMC or Informatica Cloud is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in the financial or insurance industry is advantageous.
Plusses:
- Java or .NET experience.
- IDMC or Informatica Cloud experience.
- Expertlevel SQL experience (6 years).
- Financial or Insurance industry background.
DaytoDay Activities:
- Develop and manage ETL processes using Informatica to support the companys data integration needs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues.
- Document technical processes and participate in testing and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with other developers and teams to ensure seamless application development.
