Role: Senior Associate Attorney Airport Projects and Commercial Transactions

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated creative and collaborative Senior Associate Attorney to join our projectsoriented law firm. As a key member of our nationwide Airports practice you will support our PublicPrivate Partnerships and Alternative Project Delivery practice working directly with clients and partners on complex airport commercial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key member of our nationwide Airports practice supporting our PublicPrivate Partnerships and Alternative Project Delivery practice
• Work directly with clients and partners on negotiating and drafting agreements supporting complex airport commercial transactions
• Advise clients nationwide on federal regulatory requirements regarding airport development airport finance construction procurement and environmental matters
• Have opportunities for periodic travel to attend client meetings and industry conferences

Requirements:

• 7 or more years of relevant transactional or regulatory experience
• Exceptional writing legal drafting analytical negotiating and advocacy skills
• Ability to professionally interact with clients and colleagues
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic fastpaced work environment
• Ability to think through complex legal and business issues and work collaboratively to advise clients
• High comfort level in working both independently and in a team environment
• Academic excellence and leadership with a law degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction (CO NY DC or CA preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the federal regulatory framework in which airports operate or with other transportation regulations and/or federal transportation agencies
• Experience drafting bespoke agreements and other documents supporting innovative commercial transactions
• Experience with airport operations airport law and/or other aspects of aviation
• Demonstrated interest in public infrastructure aviation transportation public policy and/or related matters
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a collegial teamfocused approach to legal practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Position Details:

• Fulltime position located in Denver CO San Francisco CA New York NY or Washington DC
• Annual expectation of 1600 billable hours with unlimited approved pro bono hours
• Periodic travel required for client meetings industry conferences and opportunities to visit with colleagues in other Firm offices
• Salary range: $185000 $225000 commensurate with experience
