Job Description

Lodge Management Couple (Permanent) Game Reserve (Mpumalanga)

POSITION: Permanent

COMMENCEMENT: ASAP

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

We are seeking an energetic experienced and dynamic Lodge Management couple of an 8 room lodge and 4 room villa. This role demands strong leadership meticulous attention to detail proactiveness the ability to multitask effectively and a steadfast dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of highend safari lodge management experience.
  • Strong interest in nature and activities relevant to the lodges location.
  • Knowledgeable in wine and food.
  • Exceptional skills in staff and guest relations.
  • Experience in overseeing maintenance and ensuring high standards of lodge upkeep.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) fluent in English.
  • Must have own transport and a valid drivers license.
  • Willing to stay onsite for 6 weeks & 2 weeks off (free accommodation and meals).

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Lead the operational team in alignment with companys core values and policies.
  • Maintain strong communication within the team and across all levels of management to ensure cohesive operations.
  • Deliver and maintain high standards to ensure each guest has a memorable stay.
  • Oversee security health and safety adhering to all company procedures.
  • Budget Management: Implement and control budgetary systems alongside management
  • Proactively plan for smooth lodge operations.
  • Maintenance and Operational Support: Ensure the lodge and backofhouse operations maintain constant high standards and run effectively.
  • ProblemSolving Skills: The ability to handle challenges and resolve issues promptly in a remote and dynamic environment.
