Overview:

Our client is a media and entertainment company that develops produces and markets entertainment news and information. It owns and operates a portfolio of news and entertainment television networks a motion picture company television production operations a television stations group theme parks and a suite of Internetbased businesses.

Job Description:
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Information Technology Business Administration other related discipline or equivalent work experience
- 13 years of experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master
- Demonstrated success in management of technical development projects using agile methodologies. Knowledge of tools necessary to perform this role: Jira Confluence PPT Word Lucid etc. Scrum Master or other Agile certifications (required)
- Technology Industry experience (desirable) Key Skills/Strengths Excellent communication skills
- Listening presenting facilitating across functions levels both internal external to the client
- Ability to prioritize effectively develop consensus and drive team decisions
- Selfmotivation; proactively identifies opportunities for improvement
- Highly responsive in times of system/process failure; addresses issues timely and brings them to appropriate resolution/closure
- Cando attitude; thorough detail oriented
Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
- Serves to facilitate scrum to the larger team by ensuring the scrum framework is followed.
- He or she is committed to the scrum methodology agile principles and best practicesbut should also remain flexible and open to opportunities for the team to improve their workflow
- Management of project scope milestones and all deliverables using various tools such as Jira
- Work closely with key business stakeholders and peers to understand and refine business requirements strategies and needs as they relate to the Scrum Team deliverables
- Crossfunctional engagement and coordination of internal and external partners to move the ball forward on all aspects of the project.
- Activities include oversight and leadership on the delivery of projects communicating to stakeholders assisting the Product Owner/team in creating user stories and prioritizing the backlog helps manage blockers and dependencies creates and reports status during scrum ceremonies.
- Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate status of technical work to appropriate parties.
Comments/Special Instructions
- This could be a Junior level Scrum Master with 13yrs of experience who Id be willing to help coach before assigning to a specific team
